Written by Robert Remington and Sherri Zickefoose, Runaway Devil is not for the passive reader. Reading this book might f*** you up.

Hello Melissa! Thank you so much for your comment! It really means a lot to us. I couldn’t imagine what it would be like even just gathering information for a book on such a tragic event. They really did a great job on it, and having interviewed someone so close to the event, it’s easy to see that your father and Sherri really did their research. This book left me with a heavy feeling on the inside, exactly as it should. If you don’t mind me asking, how did you come across our episode?

Thanks for this podcast. I’m Robert Remington’s daughter, one of the authors who wrote Runaway Devil. My dad and Sherri spent 3 years gathering, interviewing, and writing this book. They put a lot of hard work into it. I remember how much time my dad spent. My dad has covered some pretty horrific cases during his long career as a journalist.
